Ay, voy a llorar.

Now, in English:

Yesterday I had finals, but only in one class. I had to write essay for the other ones about famous dead poets... it was super boring but I learned a lot about them, like Nicanor Parra and Gerardo Diego, they were really famous in their time, but Parra is still famous today.
I really didn't like my spanish lit class because I couldn't really understand what we were talking about... I mean, I don't understand romanticism in English half the time, how am I supposed to understand it in Spanish?? I looooved my Grammar class and my Latin American lit class, probably because it was with the same professor. She was super nice and really understood that we, as foreign students, needed more help. I really hope I can take one of her classes in the fall.

Well, today is my final day here. I'm sad but I'm also kind of excited. I'm sad because I'm really going to miss my family. Maite is the best mom in Spain, she can cook like no other, probably better than my dad but don't tell him ;) (sorry padre). My little sister here, Ir, oh I'm going to miss her so much. After tomorrow, we won't be able to watch Phineas and Ferb together...ugh I might cry.
I'm really going to miss this city, but it's not too bad because I'll be back in about a month. I'm really going to miss all the students from my program and from my classes. Everyone's super different because a lot of us are from different states. I really love them all, and I'm going to miss them bunches.

But really, I'll miss my family the most. This city, the people, the heat, the cars, the food... everything.

I've always loved Spain, and now I love Granada... Cadiz is still my fave, but I'm biased...

--- my little sister helped me with the spanish part. (only made three mistakes ;) ))

Tomorrow I leave for Sevilla at oh-god-thirty, and I'll be heading home on the 7th after a stay in Madrid!

Catch ya on the flip side.

Buenas tardes.
