Granada, Day 9
As previously stated, I've been slightly under the weather.
Sinus infection and what not.
But alas, I am better. Still a little stuffy, but nothing some Zertec can't fix. (I should get paid for the amount of product placement I use)
Just to make sure everything was moving along, I decided to go get some Vitamin C from the pharmacy. Doctor man was nice enough, walked in the back, brought me a tube, said adios and I headed home excited to get some orange deliciousness in my mouth!
So without hesitation I read the instructions on how to open the bottle. Simple enough, break the seal, pop it open, out pops orange deliciousness. YUMM! In my haste to taste that sweet familiar I popped it in my mouth and chewed vigorously.... but it had a weird texture.. like something wasn't right.
I stopped chewing, and pondered what was taking place in my mouth.
Extra saliva production? Expected, but no. Too little? No way. FOAM? YES!!
My Vitamin C had begun foaming in my mouth, and for some reason my first reaction was, 'Oh, I need water.' Without further ado, I took a huge gulp of water, and thankfully didn't swallow. I let the water sit in my mouth for about 1.2 seconds, and BAM. My cheeks filled up with foam almost immediately. I quickly covered my mouth in an attemt to keep all the fluid in, sprinted from my room down the hall with orange juice spitting between my lips, into my hand and down my arm. I ran to the bathroom reached the door and it was locked. I couldn't hold any more foam in my hands though so I opened my mouth and BAM. Everything was on the floor.
I told my Madre... she laughed hysterically.
I spent the rest of the day regretting ever having bought the Vitamin C, as it was now embedded in my nose, like when you inhale pool water.
Foreign Girl Problems... didn't read the directions, not that there were any to read...
Buenas Noches
